Meet Mario

Mario Desantis is a risk-taker who knows how to deliver results. Raised in Altamura, Puglia, the heel of Italy's "boot," Mario moved to Santa Cruz, California, at the age of 19 after visiting for vacation and falling in love with the city, the redwoods, and the community. Upon arriving in Santa Cruz, Mario dedicated himself to learning English and Spanish and improving himself through education. Now, as a real estate agent, he brings that zest for life and progress to all his clients.

Mario became excited about real estate after buying his first home in 2018; he wanted others to experience how amazing it feels to own a home. He started by deeply studying the industry and helping his clients - from first-time homebuyers to empty nesters ready to downsize - find exactly what they were looking for. His knowledge, high-level training, tireless dedication, and passion for helping others make the solid pillars of a committed and trustworthy team: Desantis & Associates.

He speaks English, Spanish, and Italian and can help people relocating from outside the U.S. find their home in Santa Cruz County and throughout Silicon Valley.

Mario is dedicated to his community and family and loves traveling around Europe and the U.S. to learn about other cultures. The husband and father of one also loves playing soccer, running in the beautiful redwoods, reading books, and meeting new people.
